VA 500 Insertion Flow Meter

For Compressed Air & Gases

VA 500 is the new premier insertion flow meter for compressed air and industrial gas flow measurements from 1/2” to 12” pipe. The flow sensor is based on Thermal Mass (Calorimetric) measuring principle, no additional pressure and temperature measurement necessary. The newly developed evaluation electronics records all measured values digitally. This leads to a better accuracy also in case of large measuring spans of 1:1000.

The flow sensor is available in 4 measuring ranges – “Standard (92.7 m/s), Low (50 m/s), Max. (185 m/s) and High-Speed (224 m/s) version”. The unit can be ordered with and without integrated display. The version with display shows the real time volumetric flow, velocity, temperature and total consumption. The tube diameters and the consumption counter can be reset via keypad.
