VA 570 Inline Thermal Mass Flow Meter

For heavy duty industrial application

The VA 570 is designed for heavy duty industrial application specifically for harsh environments. The flow sensor is based on the thermal mass flow principle, it measures flow, consumption, medium temperature and velocity. Therefore the temperature and pressure compensation is not necessary.

VA 570 is supplied with an integrated measuring section. The measuring section are available in flanged version or with R resp. NPT thread. The aluminium die-cast housing with IP67 code allows all weather applications. All parts which come into contact with the measurement medium are made of stainless steel 316L. This allows applications in medical, pharmaceutical and food industry, but also the measurement of corrosive and contaminated gas. Installations in explosive environments can be done through the optional ATEX approval. Various gases can be measured such as air, oxygen, argon, carbon dioxide, natural gas, hydrogen, methane and etc… Basically, any gas mixture can be measured as long the mixing ratio and its components are known and constant.
